Terms of use

Last updated 4 October 2026

These terms apply to the Outlay app and website, provided by Sun Innova (Uroš Šunjevarić PR, Serbia). By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Outlay lets you record and review personal spending and income. It is a notebook with arithmetic, not financial advice, and not a bank: it does not connect to your accounts or move money. Numbers in the app are only as right as what you entered.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 16 and give a working email address.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. Keep it to yourself.
  • When you share a workspace, you are choosing to show its contents to the people you invite. Invite people you trust.
  • You can delete the account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Acceptable use

Do not use Outlay to store content that is illegal or that you have no right to store, do not try to break into the service or other people's workspaces, and do not overload it with automated traffic. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

Outlay is a small product under active development. We aim to keep it running and to keep your data safe, with nightly backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change or be removed. If we ever shut the service down, we will give notice and time to take your data out.

Pricing

Outlay is currently free. If paid plans are introduced, they will be offered through the App Store or Google Play under their terms, and whatever you use for free today will not be taken away without notice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Outlay is provided as is. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of what the app shows, for lost data caused by things outside our control, or for indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Privacy

How we handle your data is in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
